NATURAL
These carpets are made from all-natural materials. They are neither dyed, nor processed and are made from raw products such as wool, coir, jute, sisal and seagrass. These materials are eco-friendly, something that appeals to customers looking for more sustainable and ecological flooring.They are suitable for living room, hallways and bedrooms.
SAXONY
Saxony carpet is a cut loop pile carpet. Its pile is designed to be incredibly dense, for a soft feeling underfoot, making it a very popular choice for bedrooms and living rooms. Because of the thickness of most Saxony’s they can flatten in high traffic areas so best to avoid using them in areas such as hallways, stairs, and landings.
TWIST
Twist carpets are one of the most popular carpets found in homes in the UK. They are made from yarn, which has been tightly twisted together. The fibers quite often have a coarse finish, giving the carpet a textured appearance. The twisted yarn makes these types of carpets very durable, suitable for most areas including stairs and other high traffic areas.
LOOP
Loop pile carpets are constructed with carpet yarn that is looped, similar to the construction of knitwear – generally, wool, nylon or a mix of the two – which are sewn to the backing material and left uncut, then tufted to create texture. They offer superb resilience to everyday wear and tear. With a beautiful texture and appearance.
BERBER
The term Berber is used to describe two types of carpet: Modern, everyday Berbers that are normally brown or beige with lighter flecks of colour in them. These are looped to imitate the knot of traditional Berber carpets. Traditional Berbers that are often handmade and have bright colours or distinctive patterns and are extremly durable.
VELVET
Velvet carpets are soft and smooth to the touch and have an elegant cut pile finish. The yarn is straighter than twisted yarns, with the cut ends at the top which helps create a beautiful, velvety surface which will look good in many rooms especially bedrooms. It has a thick pile, great at hiding dirt, long-lasting making it a great choice for high traffic areas.
